What food or drinks do you use in-game, and why? I realize many may use different provisioning buffs for different reasons and it would be interesting to see how players respond.

@VaranisArano presented this suggestion in a different thread. Good idea.

For someone like me, just doing quests with no involvement in group content, crown store tri pots work just fine. Not using mats for "special" foods....

I just want to be able to use a food AND a drink without the cancel situation. And if I'm not making sense, please spare me a thought for mid 90s here, with no breeze, and no AC. It's too hot to think.... And tomorrow and Tuesday, I have to head for town - where it's going to 117 plus....

Yeah. I don't do heat well - at all. I can't wait for winter....

Personally, my most-used food is Lava Foot Soup-and-Saltrice. It's only a 2-buff food, increasing Max Stamina and Stamina Recovery, but it increases them a bit more than a 3- or 4-buff food would, and lasts for 2 hours. I don't really need buffs to my Health or Magicka, at least not on my mains.

I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

My three main characters use Bewitched Sugar Skulls, Dubious Camoran Throne, and Witchmother's Potent Brew.

I used to use the various tri-stat purple foods before Bewitched Sugar Skulls came around.

And Orzogas Smoked Bear Haunch sometimes for pvp.

Mag dps and healers use Ghastly Eye Bowl, stam dps lava foot soup and tank sugar skulls. No brainer. Why are the other foods/drinks even in the game? AND 90% of the recipes are for below lvl50. Lmao. Provisioning needs complete overhaul.

I main a tank, so I've constantly got sugar skulls up.

Once I decide to optimize other alts I'll probably take something else, but I only do overland with them so the free crown chicken is fine for them. If I really want to, I can whip up some Witchmother or Camoran for them.

Usually tri stat foods, at the moment I am using the daily log in reward crowns store ones, when those run out I just use a purple crafted equivalent. Got a few recipes that give the exact same bonuses as the crown meals and plenty of mats to make as many as I want.

If I am doing vet I might switch to sugar skulls but most of the time its not needed not going to waste the mats to have the gold food all the time.

I never really use drinks though, just prefer the stat boosts over extra regen.

magica: corrupting bloody mara for worldbosses/dungeons. I get the required dragon blood from the daily chest in Tideholm. For easier content like public dungeons melon based parmesan porc or equivalent bi-stat like salmon soup.

stamina: orzogas trifle pocket, from the orzoga quest in wrothgar. Prefer it to dubious cameron throne, as it adds 5000 health and 493 stamina recovery. It is so good that I almost never need the far more expensive artheum gold food.

Stam: Dubious Camoran throne - +Hp +Stam +Stam rec, cheap to make, everything you could ever need
Mag: Witchmothers poten brew - +Hp +Mag +Mag rec, cheap to make, everything you could ever need

when pushing end game stuff (trial leaderbord nonsence) however I swap over to Arteum takeaway borth for stam and clockwork citrus filet for mag, which are superior to the usual drinks but faar too expensive for everyday use.

I use the login tri stat for overland, so I have a reason to waste them and not throw them away all the time.

Tank uses Bewitched Sugar Skulls, Stamina DD uses Lava Foot/Dubious Camoran.

Dubious for stam toons, Witchmother's for mag, Sugar Skulls for hybrids.

Corrupting and purifying bloody mara to manage stage 2 Vampires, so I can pretend they're not really Vampires.

Newly-rolled characters may be forced to eat that nauseating chicken dinner they get at level 3. Just like school meals.

    Pve group content :

    1. if magicka steal and/or synergies are provided (or many adds are presents in boss fights) : artaeum fish bowl for max damage, as sustain is not an issue in those cases.
    2. if no form of support is provided : citrus filet : lower, but sustainable damage

For parsing : Ghastly Eye Bowl

For questing : daily log reward tri-stat meals

My PVP magden now has a decent stamina pool, so I dropped tri-stat food for Orzorga’s Red Frothgar.
I looked at Ghastly Eye Bowl and saw that it has lower stats comparing to Lavafoot soup, and I saw this drink.
It provides Max HP and Mag ren, and is cheap to make

General purpose I eat Long Fijn Pasty with Melon Sauce. It's fairly cheap to make or buy, has a nice 3-stat boost and is purple so lasts for 2 hours.

Dubious Camoran Throne to level up my stam alts, or farming Tel Var with my stamplar.

Purifying Bloody Mara for my sneaky vampire magblade to take her down to level 1 if I accidentally took her to higher stage (sometimes pressing X feeds instead of Blade of Woe). And for that same character Orzorga's Red Frothgar for farming tel var, great health boost and mag recovery to keep her cloaked, and super cheap to make.

I don't do high-end enough content for it to be worth running the Really Good Stuff, so I mostly just use blue health+(main stat) foods like Banana Bunny, as appropriate for the character. Or crown food, when I have some from a login bonus.

Not worth using rare-mat food, when they'll spend half the time running around Vivec crafting. Or just literally standing idle when I get called away from my PC to help someone with something. /shrug

For a long time I used Dubious Camoran Throne, but now I just use the Crown meals they give us as daily rewards.

For heals I use the tri-stat potions they give us.

None if I just PvE explore freely. If I do a delve, I use the daily reward fortifying meal. Generally, for the content I touch in ESO (no dungeons, no PvP), as a templar, I auto-heal sufficiently. I don't even use a healing potion.

I'm out of my mind, feel free to leave a message... PC/NA

I use the best blue foods that buff your 2 primary resources- health and mag/stam. Sugar skulls is expensive and overrated because you get 2k less primary resources just to buff the third one you won't really need plus a small health recovery you don't really notice
