At the recent DOCUMENT Strategy Forum (DSF '24) the dominant session topic was the impact of AI on customer communications, content management and customer experience. Several speakers said their organizations are grappling with issues of risk, control, privacy and additional tech debt as they weigh their options to buy or build AI tools. Governance was a key theme and the current challenge many speakers and attendees discussed. Read my Post-DSF review in the link below. #CX #AI #CCM

Vice President | Head of Messing Up GenAI Models @ F'inn
- Report this post
In the early early days of creating our F'inn trained Llama2 70b model, Greg Robison had a workstream focused on teaching our model a deep understanding of Seinfeld. That may seem ridiculous, but it was a common link him and I knew (maybe too) well, and an easy way for us to understand if LLMs could predict answers back to us that we could vet with confidence, given our vast knowledge of the show. It was pretty mind blowing how quickly and accurately the model could tell us about the importance of a butter shave and who threw Joe Mayo's fur coat out the window at that fateful party. That early thinking got all of us here at F'inn brainstorming about the broader context of humor and it's importance in the use cases that will steer the future of how we'll use & trust LLMs. More info on Greg's findings in the link below:#artificialintelligence #deeplearning #naturallanguageprocessing #ai #datascience #innovation #gpt4 #gpt3 #openai #openaichatgpt #largelanguagemodels #humor #llama2 #gemini #mixtral #generativeai #genai

Humor is such an important part of what makes us human. It's complex and requires an understanding of culture, context and creativity. This makes humor an interesting litmus test for Large Language Models (LLMs). They are impressive in their ability to process and generate language but lack the innate creativity of the human mind. One of our founders and Chief AI Architect, Greg Robison, has been playing with generative AI since 2015 and LLMs since late 2022, just for fun. Read his latest article where he asks various models to tell him a joke and then analyzes their attempts. Greg, as it happens, wrote his dissertation on the development of humor (in kids, as this was long before AI) so he is uniquely qualified to consider this intersection.https://lnkd.in/g6RAXpX9#ai #artificialintelligence #LLM #largelanguagemodels #insights #marketingresearch #innovation #digitalmarketing #generativeai #airesearch #datascience #gpt4 #openai #openaichatgpt #humor #llama2

AI is the topic of the moment, but it poses challenges across the whole financial industry. Our head of Sales and Strategic Partnerships, Scott Dawson, has been included in this special report from Finance World Magazine on AI regulation. He uses the example of how more transparency into how AI systems are used in fraud prevention could make them less effective and actually assist fraudsters. Love this… It's Not Magic, It's MathsJourney into the heart of AI and you’ll find mathematics. Think of AI as a computer program that learns from examples, much like we learn from experience. We show it a massive amount of data, and it draws out patterns and relationships, allowing it to complete tasks, make predictions or create new content.Well done to the Google team for producing this video explainer - very cool. #google#csiro#AI
