Utilizing a Cyclone 4006ST for Temporary Paint removal at Las Vegas Formula 1, Our team was able to complete 45,000 ft/2 of paint removal in 18 hours. The 40” wide removal head really sped up the process. Quick and easy dewatering tank on the ST made getting rid of the dirty water a breeze and in less than 15mins we were empty of dirty water and filled with fresh water to get right back to work. The ST removed the paint without cutting into the incredibly special asphalt they used on the track. I would give the 4006ST a 10/10 for paint removal!”

We have used the CY5000 hard surface cleaner and the 4006ST for paint removal. The CY5000 does a excellent job at surface prepping the surface before we stripe and with the water recovery and the use of hot water the surface is clean and dry within 30mins.

The finish the 4006ST leaves after we remove the markings is fantastic. Removing 100% of the markings and not damaging the surface is what we look for and Cyclone has the technology. Using Cyclones equipment has made us more productive on our jobsites.”

THE CYCLONE DIFFERENCE

Our Green Initiative

Cyclone Technology’s multi-patented innovation minimizes water usage, excludes harmful chemicals typical in traditional cleaning, and eradicates water runoff, aligning with EPA standards.

Faster
Within the Cyclone cleaning system, spray nozzles rotating at 1600 rpm blast the surface with pressurized heated water, effectively removing contaminants from any hard surface. Instant recovery eliminates the need for a secondary recovery unit, enabling a single operator to clean up to 20,000ft²/h.

Greener
Cyclone Technology’s advanced design uses only pressurized water and heat to achieve a deep, long-lasting clean. Simultaneously reclaiming water and contaminants, eliminating water runoff, reducing environmental impact, aiding in EPA compliance and storm water protection plans (SWPP).

Cleaner
The combination of heated, pressurized water and the multi-patented Cyclone head, effectively scours away dirt and contaminants in a single pass without the use of harmful chemicals.

FAQs

Is Cyclone Power Technologies still in business? ›

Cyclone Power Technologies is making great strides in its normal course of operations and its goals of bringing a working engine into mass production in the very near future.

What does a cyclone dust collector do? ›

Cyclone separators can achieve high collection efficiencies, typically separating 99% of the dust particles greater than 10 microns in size from the air stream and depositing them into a collection bin. As it services dust from circulation, cyclone systems aid in increasing airflow within a plant or factory.

How does a cyclone vacuum cleaner work? ›

A cyclonic vacuum cleaner, pulls the dirt and dust at high speed through a filter and into a collection vessel. A small air vortex is made inside the bin by the motor, which separates the particles from the air and pushes them to the sides of the bin.

What cars have the Cyclone engine? ›

Applications
VehicleHorsepowerCam Phasing
2015–2017 Ford Mustang300 hp (224 kW) at 6,500Ti-VCT
2016 AM General MV-1275 hp (205 kW) at 6,250Ti-VCT
2016–2018 Lincoln MKX303 hp (226 kW) at 6,500Ti-VCT
2017–2020 Lincoln Continental305 hp (227 kW) at 6,500Ti-VCT

What is cyclone technology? ›

Cyclones work by spinning air to separate particles from airflow. Inspired by a similar principle in a nearby sawmill, James Dyson developed the Dyson DC01 vacuum cleaner by replacing the vacuum bag with cyclonic technology.

Are cyclone dust collectors worth it? ›

Any time you are doing work where dust and other unhealthy particulate matter is being generated and released, it's appropriate to install a cyclone collector. Manufacturers rely on cyclone collectors because they are a cost-effective way to handle large volumes of air.

Are dust collectors good? ›

They Increase Productivity. When dirt, dust and debris collect on equipment, it can make its way inside, interfering with the mechanics of the equipment. This can lead to slower machines and broken equipment. Compromised machinery constantly needs attention and repairs.

How long does a dust collector last? ›

With good maintenance, many dust collector models can function well beyond two decades, but owners need to be more vigilant as the equipment ages—especially with downtime costs that can quickly escalate.

Are cyclone vacuum cleaners good? ›

The filters capture the tiniest dust particles and trap them so they are not circulated back into the room. For additional efficiency, cyclonic vacuums also have the advantage of convenience; they can be built into the walls of your home.

Can you clean the cyclone on a Dyson? ›

To protect the performance of your Dyson vacuum, it would be our strong recommendation not to wash the cyclone pack or submerge it in water. Any moisture remaining inside the inner air ducts can make its way into the motor and electronics during use, which could cause damage.

What is cyclone technology in Dyson? ›

Dyson's Radial Root Cyclone Technology

By replicating forces far more powerful than gravity, dust and debris get spun directly into the canister as opposed to lingering in the air stream.

How to make a homemade dust collection system? ›

How does a cyclone device work? ›

Cyclone separators work much like a centrifuge, but with a continuous feed of dirty air. In a cyclone separator, dirty flue gas is fed into a chamber. The inside of the chamber creates a spiral vortex, similar to a tornado. This spiral formation and the separation is shown in Figure 2.

What is a cyclone collector used for? ›

Applications of cyclone collector:

1) It is used as a pre filter to ease dust loading. 2) Used in areas having combustible dusts like wood. 3) It can also be used to sort out larger size material. 4) They are used as precleaners to reduce high amounts of larger particles.

What are the advantages of cyclone dust collectors? ›

Unlike a standard dust collector, a cyclone is more efficient at separating the bulky waste from the fine particles. It also has a small footprint and is capable of handling different kinds of dust.

What particles does a cyclone scrubber remove? ›

Most cyclones are built to control and remove particulate matter that is larger than 10 micrometers in diameter. However, there do exist high efficiency cyclones that are designed to be effective on particles as small as 2.5 micrometers. As well, these separators are not effective on extremely large particulate matter.

What is the purpose of a cyclone separator? ›

The cyclone separator is a device for separating solid particles from contaminated gas streams, and has long been used in industrial applications such as power generations, gas turbines, chemical processes and so forth.
